| Mission Possible |
 |
Here at sanofi-aventis U.S., we believe that statement wholeheartedly. So in partnership with disability organizations around the country, our sanofi-aventis and sanofi pasteur U.S. affiliates have implemented the Mission Possible campaign. Stemming from a successful French program now being implemented globally, this initiative helps raise awareness about what it means to be an employee with a disability and our company’s commitment to accommodating such individuals. It also helps us to explore options for accommodations in the workplace that will allow us to retain disabled employees. We are committed to actively recruiting jobseekers with disabilities, as well as subcontracting work with specialized disability outreach organizations.

| Hire Heroes USA |
 |
As a part of our Mission Possible initiative, sanofi-aventis U.S. is a major sponsor of a unique organization called Hire Heroes USA. This program was developed to provide career placement assistance to all of our returning service men and women. The program focuses on the career placement of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom veterans, specializing in the placement of those injured or with any level of disability. HHUSA serves veterans from all branches of the military: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Reservists and Coast Guard. As job opportunities become available, the U.S. Recruiting Team will partner with Hire Heroes USA to see if they have candidates that match the job requirements. For example, interested candidates have been interviewed for positions at our US distribution centers, and three were hired at our newest Distribution Center in Forest Park, Georgia.

Program highlights included remarks from a sanofi-aventis U.S. Sourcing Specialist, who is a former Navy lieutenant and Vietnam veteran. There were also two special guest speakers: the Vice President of Veterans Services, Community Hope, which among its many services runs Hope for Veterans®, a transitional housing program for homeless veterans; and a Hope for Veterans resident. The Human Resources Vice President , discussed the company's support of programs designed to provide job placement to those who have served in the armed forces. Following the presentations, colleagues made patriotic "greeting" cards for Hope for Veterans residents.
