U.S. Philanthropy

Sanofi-aventis U.S. will utilize a “by invitation only” approach for 2010 charitable donations. Organizations that have been previously funded in 2008 and 2009 will be the primary organizations considered at this time; we hope to contact invited organizations by March 1, 2010. Please revisit this site in the fall of 2010 for possible changes to our 2010 approach and for funding opportunities in 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
Sanofi-aventis U.S. Philanthropy Mission
Building upon the sanofi-aventis worldwide humanitarian philosophies, U.S. Philanthropy works to enhance the quality of life and independence of citizens with the most significant needs.  We seek to strengthen the communities in which we do business and where our employees live.  We fulfill this commitment through multiple charitable approaches, including financial contributions, in-kind and product donations and employee volunteerism.  In addition, we augment individual employee giving with corporate Annual Giving and Matching Gifts programs. Through these varied approaches, we strive to make a significant, positive, long-term and sustainable impact on health, access to healthcare and education, primarily for children.  We also hope to improve the possibilities of self-sufficiency for the most vulnerable within our society.
